What the Stevens Boys Do...

When we got back from the temple trip and driving four hours down and four hours back,

The Stevens Boys wanted to go diving for mini lobster things...

So at about 10:30 pm they got into there swim gear and headed out, of course I went too

This did not look like a great Idea at first, But where would all the fun be if we were not doing something a little bad. As you can see the gang is getting ready, what a group of boys!

That water was not that warm either. There are the little lobster things
They said that when they grab them that they do pinch there skin
They were diving till midnight, so I fell asleep in the cab till they were done I was so tired

Brian got his Endownments

This past weekend we got the opertunity to go to Boston with Brian and His family to be part of his endownment session.

This was the first time since our wedding that we were able to go back to the Boston Temple togther

It brought back so many great memories. I always love going back to the temple with my hubby because i feel that I understand Gods plan and His blessing that he has given to both Joanthan and I as eternal companions

The Generation of Elder Steven's

The whole family was there to support him! Mom and Dad Stevens were so happy!
I think Mom cried for all of us, lol

I WON!

So our local Grocery store has these little scratch off tickets that they give to you when you cash out, that you can win a $1 or $10 dollars. And I WON!

You can only scratch off three circles and match the pictures.

I can't belive I did it! It is such a fun game...

Our last week with the Parents..

My Mom and Dad are leaving for Utah on Monday, so Jonny and I are trying to spend as much time with them as we can. We love my parents so much.
Just last week My Mom and Dad finally got a new mower!

I am so glad they finally got a new one expecially since it takes three hours to usually mow their lawn. This new mower does it in two hours!

Anyway, Jonny and I love to have bonfires expecially at my parents house so we got to enjoy another bonfire with them on tuesday night, we deffinetly had lots of smores

I had the original smores but jonathan came up with a whole new Idea!
Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and smores!

I do have to say, he has amazing ideas that make my tastebuds tingle
Amber enjoys the bonfires too, but I think she likes the marshmellows better. All she did that night was smell out the marshmellows or wait for someone to give her one.

It was so much fun being with the family and just enjoying eachothers company. I don't know what I would ever do withouth all of them

Brians Mission

Jonathans younger brother Brian is going on a mission soon. He is leaving Vermont on September 8th!
He got called to the Provo, Utah mission.....yeah!
I am so excieted for him, I hope that he ends up loving Utah, move out there after his mission, find a beautiful girl, go to college, and then get married. I want a lot for him

When he opened his mission call he deffinently was shocked, As soon as he read Provo, Utah Mission he started to laugh, and could not stop laughing.

I love brian so much.

So Jonny and I got the privledge to finish up His mission shopping last weekend. We were searching for sheoes and a rain coat.
We went to the mall and as soon as we drove into the parking garage we saw a MALL COP!
In the South Burlington Mall! It was so funny,

I am not kidding either, he really did look like paul blart except a little older.

We ended the day at my parents house, since they will not see Brian for two years.
Mom and Dad really love Brian so much, and are so excited that he is going on a mission

I don't think my dad has ever been so excited!

Wood, Wood, Wood

Jonathan Has his own little buisness, A Wood Buisness.
This is our second year trying it out, last year we bought only a few cords of wood,
this year we ended up getting a LOT more.

My Dad, Grandfather, Mom, and Jonny all worked on the wood this year. They did such a great job. It is a lot of work to cut the wood, then chop the wood then stack the wood, and then finally letting it dry. Then delivering it is another story, because you have to through it in the truck, drive it to the clients house, then you have to unload it again. In the end the wood is handled about five times, at least. Whew...just talking about it makes me tired..

Jonathan cheated the last few cords with his grandfathers wood splitter

Placing Tile

Jonathan and I are trying to finish off our basement a little at a time.
So we started to tile our downstair closet.

It took us FOREVER!!!

We probably started at 10:30pm and were working till 2:30am
not to mention i had to wake up at six. But I had so much fun with jonathan!
I would do it a million times over

Now all we have to do is put the grout in and the sheetrock and the closet is almost done, Yeah!

Everyone I know is getting married!

It seems like everyone I know is getting married!

This past weekend I got to go to my friend Autumns wedding reception. I am so happy for her and I can't wait for them to grow even more together.

I really wish my hubby was with me to celebrate this occasion. I always love weddings because it reminds me so much of my own, and how lucky I am to have fallen in love with my best friend.

After the reception I got to meet up with my handsome husband

at my parents house where we got to have a great bonfire!

And yes we did end up sharing some of our smores with Amber, but only the marshmellow!

Diaper Cakes

I have started a new tradition for all the baby showers that I am invited to. I have started making baby cakes. They are so much fun and I feel they are unique. I just finished a Frog cake for my friends baby boy! I hope you like them....
